سفر أيّوب 12.6-1:42
فأجاب أيُّوبُ الرَّبَّ
وقال: «قد عَلِمتُ أنَّكَ قادِرٌ على كُلِّ شيء فلا يَستَحيلُ علَيكَ مُراد
مَن ذا الَّذي يُخْفي التَّدْبيرَ في غَيرِ عِلْم؟ إنّي قد أخَبَرتُ مِن غَيرِ أنَ أدُرِك بِعَجائِبَ تفوقُني ولا أَعلَم
إِسمَع فَأتكَلَّم أَسأَلُك فأخبِرْني
كُنتُ قدّ سَمِعتُكَ سَمَعَ الأذُن أمَّا الآنَ فعَيني قد رَأتَكَ
فلِذلك أرَجِعُ عن كَلامي وأنَدَمُ في التُّرابِ والرَّماد »
وَبَارَكَ الرَّبُّ آخِرَةَ أَيُّوبَ أَكْثَرَ مِنْ أُولاَهُ. وَكَانَ لَهُ أَرْبَعَةَ عَشَرَ أَلْفًا مِنَ الْغَنَمِ، وَسِتَّةُ آلاَفٍ مِنَ الإِبِلِ، وَأَلْفُ فَدَّانٍ مِنَ الْبَقَرِ، وَأَلْفُ أَتَانٍ
رسالة القدّيس بولس الثانية إلى طيموتاوس 13-8:2
يا إخوَتِي، وأَنْتَ يا ابْنِي، تَذَكَّرْ يَسُوعَ المَسِيحَ الَّذي قَامَ مِنْ بَينِ الأَمْوَات، وهُوَ مِنْ نَسْلِ دَاوُد، بِحَسَبِ إِنْجِيلِي
الَّذي فِيهِ أَحْتَمِلُ المَشَقَّاتِ حَتَّى القُيُودَ كَمُجْرِم، لكِنَّ كَلِمَةَ اللهِ لا تُقَيَّد
لِذلِكَ أَصْبِرُ على كُلِّ شَيْءٍ مِنْ أَجْلِ المُخْتَارِين، لِيَحْصَلُوا هُم أَيْضًا على الخَلاصِ في المَسِيحِ يَسُوعَ مَعَ المَجْدِ الأَبَدِيّ
صَادِقَةٌ هِيَ الكَلِمَة: إِنْ مُتْنَا مَعَهُ نَحْيَ مَعَهُ
وإِنْ صَبَرْنَا نَمْلِكْ مَعَهُ، وإِنْ أَنْكَرْنَاهُ يُنْكِرْنَا
وإِنْ كُنَّا غَيرَ أُمَنَاءَ فَهُوَ يَبْقَى أَمِينًا، لأَنَّهُ لا يَقْدِرُ أَنْ يُنْكِرَ نَفْسَهُ
2 Timothée 2:8-13
Souviens-toi de Jésus Christ, ressuscité d’entre les morts, le descendant de David : voilà mon évangile.
09 C’est pour lui que j’endure la souffrance, jusqu’à être enchaîné comme un malfaiteur. Mais on n’enchaîne pas la parole de Dieu !
10 C’est pourquoi je supporte tout pour ceux que Dieu a choisis, afin qu’ils obtiennent, eux aussi, le salut qui est dans le Christ Jésus, avec la gloire éternelle.
11 Voici une parole digne de foi : Si nous sommes morts avec lui, avec lui nous vivrons.
12 Si nous supportons l’épreuve, avec lui nous régnerons. Si nous le rejetons, lui aussi nous rejettera.
13 Si nous manquons de foi, lui reste fidèle à sa parole, car il ne peut se rejeter lui-même.
إنجيل القدّيس لوقا 35-13:24
في اليَوْمِ عَينِهِ، كانَ ٱثْنَانِ مِنَ التَلاميذِ ذَاهِبَيْنِ إِلَى قَرْيَةٍ تُدْعَى عِمَّاوُس، تَبْعُدُ نَحْوَ سَبْعَةِ أَمْيَالٍ عَنْ أُورَشَلِيم
وَكانَا يَتَحَادَثَانِ بِكُلِّ تِلْكَ الأُمُورِ الَّتِي حَدَثَتْ
وفيمَا هُمَا يَتَحَادَثَانِ وَيَتَسَاءَلان، إِذَا يَسُوعُ نَفْسُهُ قَدِ ٱقْتَرَبَ مِنْهُمَا، وَرَاحَ يَسِيرُ مَعَهُمَا
ولكِنَّ أَعْيُنَهُمَا أُمْسِكَتْ عَنْ مَعْرِفَتِهِ
أَمَّا هُوَ فَقَالَ لَهُمَا: «مَا هذَا الكَلامُ الَّذي تَتَحَادَثَانِ بِهِ، وَأَنْتُمَا تَسِيرَان؟». فَوَقَفَا عَابِسَين
وَأَجَابَ أَحَدُهُمَا، وٱسْمُهُ كِلْيُوبَاس، فَقَالَ لَهُ: «هَلْ أَنْتَ وَحْدَكَ غَرِيبٌ عَنْ أُورَشَلِيم، فَلا تَعْلَمَ مَا حَدَثَ فِيهَا هذِهِ الأَيَّام؟»
فَقَالَ لَهُمَا: «ومَا هِيَ؟». فَقَالا لَهُ: «مَا يَتَعَلَّقُ بِيَسُوعَ النَّاصِرِيّ، الَّذي كَانَ رَجُلاً نَبِيًّا قَوِيًّا بِالقَوْلِ وَالفِعْل، قُدَّامَ اللهِ وَالشَّعْبِ كُلِّهِ
وكَيْفَ أَسْلَمَهُ أَحْبَارُنا وَرُؤَسَاؤُنَا لِيُحْكَمَ عَلَيْهِ بِالمَوْت، وَكَيْفَ صَلَبُوه
وكُنَّا نَحْنُ نَرْجُو أَنْ يَكُونَ هُوَ الَّذي سَيَفْدِي إِسْرَائِيل. وَلكِنْ مَعَ هذَا كُلِّهِ، فَهذَا هُوَ اليَوْمُ الثَّالِثُ بَعْدَ تِلْكَ الأَحْدَاث
لكِنَّ بَعْضَ النِّسَاءِ مِنْ جَمَاعَتِنَا أَدْهَشْنَنَا، لأَنَّهُنَّ ذَهَبْنَ إِلَى القَبْرِ عِنْدَ الفَجْر
وَلَمْ يَجِدْنَ جَسَدَ يَسُوع، فَرَجَعْنَ وَقُلْنَ إِنَّهُنَّ شَاهَدْنَ مَلائِكَةً تَرَاءَوْا لَهُنَّ وَقَالُوا إِنَّهُ حَيّ
ومَضَى قَوْمٌ مِنَ الَّذِينَ مَعَنَا إِلى القَبْر، فَوَجَدُوهُ هكذَا كَمَا قَالَتِ النِّسَاء، وَأَمَّا يَسُوعُ فَلَمْ يَرَوْه»
فقَالَ لَهُمَا يَسُوع: «يَا عَدِيمَيِ الفَهْم، وَبَطِيئَيِ القَلْبِ في الإِيْمَانِ بِكُلِّ مَا تَكَلَّمَ بِهِ الأَنْبِيَاء
أَمَا كَانَ يَجِبُ عَلَى المَسِيحِ أَنْ يُعَانِيَ تِلْكَ الآلام، ثُمَّ يَدْخُلَ في مَجْدِهِ؟»
وَفَسَّرَ لَهُمَا مَا يَتَعَلَّقُ بِهِ في كُلِّ الكُتُبِ المُقَدَّسَة، مُبْتَدِئًا بِمُوسَى وَجَمِيعِ الأَنْبِيَاء
وٱقْتَرَبَا مِنَ القَرْيَةِ الَّتي كَانَا ذَاهِبَيْنِ إِلَيْهَا، فتَظَاهَرَ يَسُوعُ بِأَنَّهُ ذَاهِبٌ إِلى مَكَانٍ أَبْعَد
فَتَمَسَّكَا بِهِ قَائِلَين: «أُمْكُثْ مَعَنَا، فَقَدْ حَانَ المَسَاء، وَمَالَ النَّهَار». فَدَخَلَ لِيَمْكُثَ مَعَهُمَا
وفِيمَا كَانَ مُتَّكِئًا مَعَهُمَا، أَخَذَ الخُبْزَ، وبَارَكَ، وَكَسَرَ، ونَاوَلَهُمَا
فٱنْفَتَحَتْ أَعْيُنُهُمَا، وَعَرَفَاهُ، فَإِذَا هُوَ قَدْ تَوَارَى عَنْهُمَا
فَقَالَ أَحَدُهُمَا لِلآخَر: «أَمَا كَانَ قَلْبُنَا مُضْطَرِمًا فِينَا، حِينَ كَانَ يُكَلِّمُنَا في الطَّرِيق، وَيَشْرَحُ لَنَا الكُتُب؟»
وقَامَا في تِلْكَ السَّاعَةِ عَيْنِهَا، وَرَجَعَا إِلَى أُورَشَلِيم، فَوَجَدَا ٱلأَحَدَ عَشَرَ وَالَّذِينَ مَعَهُم مُجْتَمِعِين
وَهُم يَقُولُون: «حَقًّا إِنَّ الرَّبَّ قَام، وتَرَاءَى لِسِمْعَان!»
أَمَّا هُمَا فَكانَا يُخْبِرانِ بِمَا حَدَثَ في الطَّرِيق، وَكَيْفَ عَرَفَا يَسُوعَ عِنْدَ كَسْرِ الخُبْز
Luc 24:13-35
24.13
Et voici, ce même jour, deux disciples allaient à un village nommé Emmaüs, éloigné de Jérusalem de soixante stades;
24.14
et ils s’entretenaient de tout ce qui s’était passé.
24.15
Pendant qu’ils parlaient et discutaient, Jésus s’approcha, et fit route avec eux.
24.16
Mais leurs yeux étaient empêchés de le reconnaître.
24.17
Il leur dit: De quoi vous entretenez-vous en marchant, pour que vous soyez tout tristes?
24.18
L’un d’eux, nommé Cléopas, lui répondit: Es-tu le seul qui, séjournant à Jérusalem ne sache pas ce qui y est arrivé ces jours-ci? –
24.19
Quoi? leur dit-il. -Et ils lui répondirent: Ce qui est arrivé au sujet de Jésus de Nazareth, qui était un prophète puissant en oeuvres et en paroles devant Dieu et devant tout le peuple,
24.20
et comment les principaux sacrificateurs et nos magistrats l’on livré pour le faire condamner à mort et l’ont crucifié.
24.21
Nous espérions que ce serait lui qui délivrerait Israël; mais avec tout cela, voici le troisième jour que ces choses se sont passées.
24.22
Il est vrai que quelques femmes d’entre nous nous ont fort étonnés; s’étant rendues de grand matin au sépulcre
24.23
et n’ayant pas trouvé son corps, elles sont venues dire que des anges leurs sont apparus et ont annoncé qu’il est vivant.
24.24
Quelques-uns de ceux qui étaient avec nous sont allés au sépulcre, et ils ont trouvé les choses comme les femmes l’avaient dit; mais lui, ils ne l’ont point vu.
24.25
Alors Jésus leur dit: O hommes sans intelligence, et dont le coeur est lent à croire tout ce qu’ont dit les prophètes!
24.26
Ne fallait-il pas que le Christ souffrît ces choses, et qu’il entrât dans sa gloire?
24.27
Et, commençant par Moïse et par tous les prophètes, il leur expliqua dans toutes les Écritures ce qui le concernait.
24.28
Lorsqu’ils furent près du village où ils allaient, il parut vouloir aller plus loin.
24.29
Mais ils le pressèrent, en disant: Reste avec nous, car le soir approche, le jour est sur son déclin. Et il entra, pour rester avec eux.
24.30
Pendant qu’il était à table avec eux, il prit le pain; et, après avoir rendu grâces, il le rompit, et le leur donna.
24.31
Alors leurs yeux s’ouvrirent, et ils le reconnurent; mais il disparut de devant eux.
24.32
Et ils se dirent l’un à l’autre: Notre coeur ne brûlait-il pas au dedans de nous, lorsqu’il nous parlait en chemin et nous expliquait les Écritures?
24.33
Se levant à l’heure même, ils retournèrent à Jérusalem, et ils trouvèrent les onze, et ceux qui étaient avec eux, assemblés
24.34
et disant: Le Seigneur est réellement ressuscité, et il est apparu à Simon.
24.35
Et ils racontèrent ce qui leur était arrivé en chemin, et comment ils l’avaient reconnu au moment où il rompit le pain.
Luke 24:13-35
Now that very same day, two of them were on their way to a village called Emmaus, seven miles from Jerusalem,
14 and they were talking together about all that had happened.
15 And it happened that as they were talking together and discussing it, Jesus himself came up and walked by their side;
16 but their eyes were prevented from recognising him.
17 He said to them, ‘What are all these things that you are discussing as you walk along?’ They stopped, their faces downcast.
18 Then one of them, called Cleopas, answered him, ‘You must be the only person staying in Jerusalem who does not know the things that have been happening there these last few days.’
19 He asked, ‘What things?’ They answered, ‘All about Jesus of Nazareth, who showed himself a prophet powerful in action and speech before God and the whole people;
20 and how our chief priests and our leaders handed him over to be sentenced to death, and had him crucified.
21 Our own hope had been that he would be the one to set Israel free. And this is not all: two whole days have now gone by since it all happened;
22 and some women from our group have astounded us: they went to the tomb in the early morning,
23 and when they could not find the body, they came back to tell us they had seen a vision of angels who declared he was alive.
24 Some of our friends went to the tomb and found everything exactly as the women had reported, but of him they saw nothing.’
25 Then he said to them, ‘You foolish men! So slow to believe all that the prophets have said!
26 Was it not necessary that the Christ should suffer before entering into his glory?’
27 Then, starting with Moses and going through all the prophets, he explained to them the passages throughout the scriptures that were about himself.
28 When they drew near to the village to which they were going, he made as if to go on;
29 but they pressed him to stay with them saying, ‘It is nearly evening, and the day is almost over.’ So he went in to stay with them.
30 Now while he was with them at table, he took the bread and said the blessing; then he broke it and handed it to them.
31 And their eyes were opened and they recognised him; but he had vanished from their sight.
32 Then they said to each other, ‘Did not our hearts burn within us as he talked to us on the road and explained the scriptures to us?’
33 They set out that instant and returned to Jerusalem. There they found the Eleven assembled together with their companions,
34 who said to them, ‘The Lord has indeed risen and has appeared to Simon.’
35 Then they told their story of what had happened on the road and how they had recognised him at the breaking of bread.
